On June 9, at Ufa Congress Hall the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov delivered a speech at the plenary session of the 7th International Scientific-Practical Conference "Procedural Arrangements of Non-Monetary Claims in Enforcement Documents: Problems and Solutions."
Before the meeting, the Head of the Republic met with the Director of the Federal Bailiff Service - Chief Bailiff of Russia Arthur Parfenchikov, the President of the International Union of Bailiffs Francoise Andrieux and the Deputy Justice Minister Russia Alu Alkhanov, who took part in the conference.
The Head of Bashkortostan said that due to the work of bailiffs the republic recovered 9 billion rubles of debts in the past year, of which 3 billion - to the federal budget, about 1 billion - to the republican and local budgets.
The Chief Bailiff of Russia said that the conference had become more representative due to participating scientists.
“We see among the participants not only practitioners from 22 countries in Europe and Asia. We are pleased that there are a lot of scientists, and not only from Russia. That gives a special impetus, a fundamental format to the discussions that we will carry out on this quite difficult topic,” said Arthur Parfenchikov. “Ufa was chosen to host the conference not accidentally. One of the vectors of the International Union of Bailiffs is Asian trend, which is not so strongly represented in the Union so far. It is very important that many delegations from Asia are present at today's forum.”
Recall that in the autumn of 2009, the Federal Bailiff Service became a member of the International Union of Bailiffs. In order to study international experience in the enforcement system the leadership of the Russian Bailiff Service decided to organize and conduct an international forum in the Russian Federation to share experiences and discuss the existing problems.
From 9 to 11 June Ufa hosts the 7th International Scientific-Practical Conference. It is carried out by the Federal Service of Court Bailiffs, with the support of the International Union of Bailiffs, the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan together with Bashkir State University, Russian State University of Justice, as well as the Association of Legal Education.
The conference is attended by leading Russian and foreign specialists in the sphere of enforcement proceedings, including the representatives of Germany, Finland, Serbia, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Czech Republic, Montenegro, Iran, China, Thailand, Mongolia, Belarus, Armenia, Vietnam, Latvia, Estonia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan.
