Finnish radio amateur received "Mayak Bashkortostan" radio signal
UFA, 8 June 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Sergey Zakharov/. The radio amateur Jim Solatie from the city of Espoo, which is located near Helsinki (Finland) received the signal of "Mayak" radio from Sterlitamak on the 106.7 MHz frequency. He notified about it in the letter the "Bashkortostan" TV and radio company.
"I was able to receive your radio station here in Finland. It is very interesting to me. The reason for this long signal is unusual weather conditions in the upper atmosphere. This occurs rarely, especially during the summer. I'm glad that I met you in the air", Jim Solatie wrote in the letter and put some fragments of radio programs as the evidence.
He also said that all radio amateurs collect an acknowledgment of the received radio stations. This gives them the right to participate in competitions and receive diplomas from different clubs.
In Ufa you can listen to "Mayak" on the frequency of 100,6 FM, in Sterlitamak - 106,7 FM.
