Russia Day and City Day celebrations will end with fireworks in Ufa

UFA, 7 June 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. In Ufa celebrations of the Russia Day and the City Day will end with ten-minute fireworks. At the briefing session at the City Hall the head of the Culture and Arts Department of the city administration Islametdin Mambetov told how the capital would celebrate the Day of Russia, the 262nd anniversary of the birth of Salavat Yulaev and the 442nd anniversary of the Ufa fortress foundation.

The celebrations will cover all areas of the city; the main events will unfold in Lenin Square. It is planned to hold there: the "Carousel of Friendship" children's holiday, a theatrical performance, a concert. At 23.00 the city will be illuminated with fireworks.

The mayor's office representatives noted that the celebrations would be held with local art groups and soloists. Earlier similar events were conducted with guest stars participation.
