Journalists from Ufa and Kazan met with representative of Prague City Hall

UFA, 6 June 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. Journalists from Ufa and Kazan managed to learn about life in Prague features firsthand. Meeting with a representative of the City Hall of the capital of the Czech Republic took place on Monday, June 6 while the press tour to this country.

"This year Prague won the title of the European city of sport. This is a kind of annual relay race, which passes the cities of Europe. Prague has supported about 1,500 sports projects at different levels as part of this race, it has been spent about 500 million crowns...", the spokesman for the City Hall of Prague Vit Hoffman said.

"If we talk about pressing issues then now we are struggling with Segways. This problem concerns the historic city centre. It is here that accidents often occur connected with this type of transport - collisions with pedestrians and public transport. We receive more and more complaints of inhabitants on this issue. Now, in cooperation with the main parts of Prague it is prepared a decree to ban Segway traffic in the territory of the historic centre, plus the territory of the first Prague's municipal area", Vit Hoffman shared.

In addition, he told reporters about the problem, which was associated with taxi drivers and special features of public transport development.
