Ufa Petroleum University has a new partner in Switzerland

UFA, 3 June 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (USPTU) develops ties with Switzerland. A Memorandum on joint activities aimed at scientific solution of investment projects related to construction and reconstruction of oil producing, petrochemical and gas complexes in the territory of the Russian Federation, Republic of Kazakhstan and other countries, was signed between USPTU and the Progress Ultrasonics AG company within the framework of the second Russian-Swiss Forum held at Samara State Technical University, the USPTU press centre reports.

Such large-scale event was attended by leading innovators, scientists, politicians, leaders of Russian and Swiss leading industrial companies. They discussed the innovations not only in industry, education, medicine, and environment protection areas, but also in international relations.

The First Vice-President of the Russian Engineering Union, the coordinator of the parliamentary group of friendship "Russia - Switzerland" in the State Duma Vladimir Gutenev named the forum a landmark event in Russian-Swiss cooperation despite sanction measures.

The Ferring Company CEO, Honourary Consul General of Russia in Lausanne Frederik Paulsen, the main initiator of the forum, said that the Swiss business was based on creative endeavour, constant research and innovation.

During the forum a number of other promising cooperation agreements were signed.
