Cold snap with rain and snow is expected in Bashkiria

UFA, 31 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. In the coming days of the week the cold weather is expected in Bashkortostan by 3-4 degrees below the long-term values. It is reported by the Republican Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring Agency.

Forecasters warn of frosts and ground frosts in the northern and mountainous areas. In some areas intermittent rains, possibly with snow at nights are expected.

On Tuesday, May 31, light snow and rain are forecast, with air temperature during the day reaching + 12 + 17 degrees Celsius in the northern regions of the republic. On Wednesday, June 1, light rains will continue. At night it will be +2 to +7 degrees Celsius, in some places up to -2, with ground frosts 0, -5, during the day the thermometers will show + 13 + 18 degrees. On Thursday, June 2 in some areas light rains are possible. Air temperature at night will be + 2 + 7 degrees, in some places dropping to -2, with ground frosts, 15-20 degrees in the afternoon.

At the end of the working week and on weekends the rainfall expectancy will increase in most areas of the republic. Gradually temperatures will reach normal values typical to the first days of summer.
