Cold snap with rains will come to replace 30-degree heat in Bashkiria

UFA, 27 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. Forecasters of Bashkir Office for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring report about changing weather conditions in the republic. In the coming weekend the hot weather of the outgoing week with daytime temperatures of 25-31 degrees Celsius will be replaced by a cold snap caused by a cold atmospheric front from the northern regions of Russia shifting to the South Urals.

"The day temperatures will drop to 20-25 degrees accompanied by occasional thunderstorms and squally wind", experts of Bashkir Hydrometeorology Office inform.

On the last day of the working week, May 27 it will be still hot. On Saturday, May 28 in the northern regions of the republic light intermittent rains, storms are possible. Air temperature at night will be 11-16 degrees, in mountainous areas to +6 degrees, 24-29 degrees during day. On Sunday, May 29 occasional rains, thunderstorm in the afternoon are predicted. At night, it will be 10-15 degrees, reaching 21-26 degrees during the day.

Since May 31 it is expected further decrease in temperature.

In the early days of the summer months, weather forecasters predict ground frosts. Day temperatures will not exceed 13-18 degrees Celsius.
