Assembly of the Peoples of Bashkortostan has defined measures to consolidate peoples in the region

UFA, 26 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. The Assembly of the Peoples of Bashkortostan has defined measures to consolidate the peoples of the region. Yesterday in Ufa a meeting of the Presidium of the Assembly took place. It was attended by members of the Presidium, the leaders of the national-cultural associations, the representatives of the House of Peoples' Friendship RB.

The President of the Assembly of the Peoples RB Zugura Rakhmatullina informed the participants about the work done for the first five months of this year.

"Our organization participated in the 4th Congress of Russian Council of Bashkortostan, the Regional Conference of National-Cultural Autonomy of Tatars RB. The "Nowruz" spring equinox holiday, "Mertsishor" Moldovan national holiday, the All-Russian scientific-practical conference with international participation "National Costume: From the Past to the Future" in Uchaly, festive events dedicated to the Victory Day were held with the active participation of the Assembly. During this period, the organization's website was launched", said Zugura Rakhmatullina.

Participants of the meeting discussed the action plan for the second half of this year, the creation of the youth section of the Assembly and the Regional Resource Centre in the field of ethnic relations. It was outlined the main projects aimed at consolidating the peoples of the region.
