Summer heat wave is expected in Bashkiria

UFA, 23 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. This week a heat wave will cover Bashkortostan, according to the Republican Agency for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring.

The warm weather will be caused by hot and dry air masses from Central Asia, as well as the area of high pressure at the surface.

On Monday, May 23 occasional intermittent rains, thunderstorms are possible with air temperatures at night 10-15 degrees Celsius, 22-27 degrees during the day.

On Tuesday, May 24, the thermometers will show 23-28 degrees dropping to 10-15 degrees during the night.

On Wednesday, 25 May, dry weather with temperatures rising to 29-30 degrees during the day is expected.

The likelihood of storm rains and wind squalls will increase only at the end of the week in the north of the republic with the approaching cold front.
