Two Bashkiria sports facilities are included in "Sports Industry Leaders" award short list

UFA, 20 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. At once two sports facilities of Bashkortostan are included in the short list of the "Leaders of Sports Industry" Award. Any citizen of the republic can support our region and vote for his favourite sports complex on the competition website.

Among the top contenders from Bashkiria are the "Ufa-Arena" Ice Palace and the "Abzakovo" skiing centre. A special Grand Prix nomination is established, where the participants will compete in two categories: "Best Ski Resort" and "Best Ice Arena".

The main competition of winter sports industry is gaining momentum every year. The list has already included over 20 nominations instead of previous 12. Among the innovations - the "Best Media" nomination in promotion of winter sports, "Best Domestic Manufacturer".

The solemn awarding ceremony will close the first day of the International Congress of the Winter Sports Industry, Tourism and Active Recreation. The event will take place in Krasnoyarsk, and will be timed to the project of "1000" days before the Winter Universiade-2019. The status award, according to preliminary estimates of experts, will travel to several regions of Russia.
