Ufa entered top ten of popular destinations

UFA, 19 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. Ufa entered the top ten of popular destinations. According to the Aviasales.ru online booking service, nine out of ten popular destinations from Moscow during the May holidays fell on Russian cities.

The leader of the rating was Simferopol; Sochi (Adler) was on the second place, then - Mineralnye Vody. The top ten most popular destinations included St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Makhachkala, Rostov-on-Don, Ufa and Kaliningrad. The single foreign city in the top 10 was Chisinau.

As reported by the Federal Tourism Agency, the domestic tourist flow in May holidays has increased by 15-20 percent compared with the same period of the last year. Objective indicators of tourist destinations sales confirm the growth trend in the popularity of travel inside Russia, which is forecast to continue in the coming years.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, the analysis of data for air travel queries to Russia from other countries for the period from June 1 to August 31, 2016 and from June 1 to August 31 2015 showed that most of the Ufa fans were from Germany this year. Also in 2016 visits of the Bashkir capital were popular among residents of Canada, Sweden, USA, Israel, Norway, the UK, Denmark, Spain, the Czech Republic. Last year, the top 10 countries from which most tourists arrived in Ufa in June-August, had a different variety of places: Canada, Germany, UAE, UK, USA, Italy, Spain, Israel, Denmark, Turkey.
