Most Russians think it necessary to reduce daily expenses - VCIOM

UFA, 18 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. Most Russians consider it necessary to reduce daily expenses. This is evidenced by the data from a poll conducted by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Centre (VCIOM).
The share of those who believe it necessary to reduce daily expenses reached annual maximum - 66 percent. The opposite opinion is shared by one quarter of Russians: 24 percent of all respondents and 30 percent among prosperous people. They believe that the savings is better to invest in something valuable and everyday income should be spent on necessary purchases.
65 percent of Russians think that the present time is unfavourable for large purchases. The respondents' opinions were divided almost evenly on the issue of trust to banks: 37 percent advise to deposit free money in the bank, and 39 percent, in contrast, offer to withdraw their savings. The vast majority of respondents (87 percent) say that now it is not the right time for taking loans.
