Conference on extremism prevention opened in Bashkortostan

UFA, 17 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. In Bashkortostan an interregional scientific-practical conference on extremism prevention "Public Safety: New Ideas and Challenges of our Time" is carried out. The program of the forum, which takes place in Meleuz, is scheduled for two days. It was organized by M. Akmulla Bashkir State Pedagogical University, Russian Islamic University TsDUM Russia, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Bashkortostan with the assistance of the State-Confessional Relations Council under the Head of Bashkortostan Republic and the Interdepartmental Council of Public Safety RB.

The main objective of the forum is to discuss and develop measures to improve and coordinate the activities of government, public and religious organizations in preventing extremism and terrorism. The participants are the leaders of traditional religions in the region, officials of law enforcement and security agencies from Moscow, Orenburg, Ufa, and Kazan, Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, as well as well-known scientists and specialists in this area fromthe country's leading universities.

The consultation workshop "Sport. Patriotism. Belief. Courage. Homeland" will be held on the second day. It will take place in one of the gyms of Meleuz.
