State-of-the-art medical complex will be put into operation in Salavat by 2020 - Head of Bashkortostan

UFA, 13 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Alexander Smirnov/. On May 12, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov during his working trip to Salavat examined the city's multi-functional hospital operation. Its construction began in 1989, but it was suspended later. Full-fledged construction works resumed only in 2014. In March 2016, two of the three buildings were put into operation. More than 70 units of medical equipment worth 97 million rubles were delivered.

The endoscopy, therapeutic, surgical (eye), vascular (neurology and cardiology) departments and intensive care unit, rehabilitation and ultrasound diagnostics departments are located in the first six-storey building. The second four-storey building accommodates physiotherapy, x-ray and clinical-diagnostic departments. Currently, it is solved a problem of repairing the third building and bringing it into line with the applicable rules and regulations.

Salavat townspeople thanked Rustem Khamitov for his assistance in the completion of the hospital construction.
