Victory Day celebrations ended with colourful fireworks in Ufa

UFA, 10 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. On May 9, in Ufa the celebrations dedicated to the 71st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War were held. The evening concert program with participation of the city brass band, the folk ensemble "Miras", as well as the amateur vocal and choreographic teams of the city was organized for residents and guests of the city. The celebratory victory fireworks were a striking a chord of the day.

As previously reported, in Ufa celebrations began in Victory Park with the traditional ceremony of laying flowers to the Eternal Flame and memorial to home front workers. The "March of Winners" was held along the streets of the city. The Bashkir capital also joined the "Immortal Regiment" nationwide campaign. More than 35 thousand Ufa townspeople marched along October Avenue with pictures of the Great Patriotic War participants.
