Rustem Khamitov has met with KHL President Dmitry Chernyshenko

UFA, 6 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Alexander Smirnov/. On May 5 in Ufa, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with the President of the Kontinental Hockey League Dmitry Chernyshenko. During the meeting the sides discussed issues of preparation for the Kontinental Hockey League All-Star Game in 2017 in Ufa.

“I would like to express my immense gratitude and appreciation to the Kontinental Hockey League as a whole for the work you are doing, and for choosing Ufa as a place to host the Kontinental Hockey League All-Star Game. It is a landmark, a great event for us. We are definitely excited about this decision, and, of course, we will make every effort to ensure that the hockey festival in Ufa will be held at the highest level”, Rustem Khamitov said.

The head of the region noted that the support of hockey in the region will continue, including in terms of facilities improving.

From the point of view of the program that youoffered, it was really the best proposal”, underlined Dmitry Chernyshenko. “You offered not a single event, but a whole series of events.
