«Brain Energy» team from Ufa Petroleum University became winner of the regional engineering championship «Case-in»

In Ufa, the results of the regional qualifying round of the International Engineering Championship «Case-in» were summed up where teams of republican students competed in solving engineering case in "Oil and Gas Engineering". The championship took place at the Ufa State Petroleum Technological University on May 4.

«Case-in» - is the largest practice-oriented competition among students studying in the areas of fuel and energy and mineral resources sector of Russia. The teams have been offered the tasks developed on the basis of real production issues. The championship participants had to study the materials, suggest the original technical solutions, calculate the efficiency with economic, social and environmental criteria, make presentations.

The team of Ufa State Petroleum Technological University «Brain Energy» won the championship. The team included graduate students Ilvin Khusnutdinov and Alik Hafizov, students Alina Vakhitova and Konstantin Kryshko. In late May, the team will defend the honour of the republic at the final stage of the championship in Moscow. Winners and runners-up of the competition received prizes and gifts from the organizers of the event and the Bashneft.
