European scientists have visited Bulgarian Cultural Centre in Ufa

UFA, 27 April 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. Delegation of European scientists visited the Bulgarian Cultural Centre and "Bashkortostan - Bulgaria" Friendship Society. The Chairman of the Society Jaroslav Schroeder and Executive Director Tatiana Korobova welcomed the guests.

Scientists from Bulgaria arrived at Bashkir State University (BSU) to participate in the international scientific-practical conference "Modernization of Higher Education in Russia: Historical Experience and Development Vectors". The scientific forum is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the first rector of BSU Sh.Kh. Chanbarisov. The delegation was headed by the Rector of St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo Hristo Iliev Bondzholov.

The visit of Bulgarian colleagues started with examining the Bulgarian Cultural Centre and the Bulgarian Children's Sunday School’s activities. Yaroslav Schroeder told about the history of the organization establishment and joint projects with the Bulgarian side. One of them will include participation in the "Sabantuy" festival, which will be held in the city of Sofia on May 21, 2016. It is planned to hold a bike ride in Bulgaria with laying flowers to the monuments of Soviet soldiers. The parties discussed possible participation of public figures, teachers and students of leading Bulgarian universities in the bike ride.

Then the guests got acquainted with the exhibition of Slavic folk dolls opened in the Bulgarian Cultural Centre.
