Twinning arrangement between Astana and Ufa will be signed in 2016

UFA, 26 April 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. The twinning arrangement between Astana and Ufa will be signed in 2016. The official delegation of the administration of Ufa visited the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Astana. The purpose of the trip was to exchange experience in economy, investment, corporate business and tariffs regulation, the press service of the City Hall reports.

The meeting of Ufa representatives with the leadership of the Directorate of Business and Industry of Kazakhstan's capital was held, where issues of cooperation were discussed. The delegation visited the Akim control centre of Astana, where they got acquainted with the city maintenance system. Following the talks, the agreement was reached on signing the twinning arrangement between Astana and Ufa in 2016.

Ufa representatives visited the industrial enterprises of the Astana Industrial Park No.1, got acquainted with the activity of the plant to produce passenger cars LLP "Tulpar-Talgo" (Kazakhstan-Spain). They inspected a joint venture of Kazakhstan, France and Russia - factory for modern electric locomotives production, as well as the plant for manufacture of electro-optical devices LLP "Kazakhstan ASELSAN Engineering" and the company for production of machinery and equipment for the textile industry LLP "PIK "ASTANA Yutariya Ltd". The members of the delegation visited the pavilions of JSC "NC" Astana EXPO-2017", which will host the "Energy of the Future" international exhibition in 2017.
