Environmental campaigns are continuing in Bashkiria

UFA, 19 April 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. To date the share of cleaning and landscaping across Bashkortostan is 24 percent, according to the Ministry of Ecology of the region. The environmental campaigns will last in the republic until May 14.

On Saturday, April 16, as part of city clean-ups a regular annual republican socio-ecological campaign "My Republic" was held in Ufa Neftehimik Park. It was attended by 300 people. The Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology RB Ildar Hadyev took part in the cleanup of the park together with representatives of youth-Russian public organization "Russian Student Teams", students of universities and secondary specialized schools, volunteers from children's and youth associations.

The participants cleared the park area and its vicinity, collected and removed more than 150 cubic metres of waste.
