Every second Russian believes that Government will cope with crisis - VCIOM

UFA, 31 March 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. Every second Russian believes that the Government of the country will cope with the crisis. The survey data are presented by the Russian Public Opinion Research Centre.
Most of the population has no doubt that the Russian government knows how to deal with the economic crisis in the country. 55 percent of Russians believe that the Cabinet has thought out a plan to overcome the situation. 32 percent have the opposite point of view. Every second Russian (49 percent) believes that the Government will be able to change the situation in the country for the better. 23 percent of respondents are skeptical in this regard. The same number believes that the chances of success and failure are approximately equal.
"Fairly, the country runs the current crisis much more successfully than in 2009. Unemployment rates are quite low, the population believes in fundamental stability of the ruble and implicitly is preparing for stop in prices rise, or even their fall", said Oleg Chernozub, the leading expert of monitoring and electoral surveys of VCIOM.
