Bashkir Medical University will collaborate with major university of Czech Republic

UFA, 31 March 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Bashkir State Medical University will work closely with one of the most prestigious higher education institutions in the Czech Republic - Charles University. The agreement was reached during a visit to Ufa of Professor of Neurology Charles University, Vice-President of the European Federation of Neurological Societies, Chairman of the Czech Society of Neurologists Pavel Kalvach. In the Bashkir capital he took part in the republican scientific-practical conference "New Possibilities of Diagnosis and Treatment of Neurological Diseases".

As the press service of Bashkir State Medical University informs, Professor from Prague visited a simulation centre, university clinic, PET Centre, met with students.

In addition, the sides discussed issues of further cooperation supposing academic exchanges of students and teachers, exchange of educational technologies, joint research in the field of X-ray diagnostics of vascular diseases, the rector of Bashkir State Medical University Valentin Pavlov specified.

Charles University in Prague – is the main university of the Czech Republic, the oldest university in Central Europe, founded in 1348. It is a member of the Association of the European Universities, along with Oxford, Leiden, Bonn, Sorbonne, Bologna and the University of Geneva. Currently, more than 53 thousand students study there, of which about seven thousand are foreign students. The university cooperates with many higher educational institutions of America, Europe and Asia.
