Majority of Russians are not willing to have migrants as their housekeepers and baby-sitters - poll

UFA, 30 March 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. More than 60 percent of Russians are not ready to have migrants as their baby-sitters or housekeepers. These are data of a poll conducted by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Centre.
It is also noted that in recent years Russians have become more loyal to the presence of migrant workers in education (compared to July 2013 their number rose from 13 percent to 21 percent, against today’s 68 percent) and healthcare (from 17 percent to 23 percent, against - 66 percent).
"Most part of Russians express strong dissent regarding migrants work in local authorities (75 percent against it, that is lower than in July 2013 - 86 percent) and law enforcement bodies (72 percent vs. 84 percent, respectively)", it is reported.
The poll was conducted by VCIOM on March 12-13. 1600 respondents were interviewed in 130 settlements of 46 regions.
