Salavat Yulaev reached the east finals of Gagarin Cup 2016

HC Avangard lost to HC Salavat Yulaev (Ufa).

In the first period, Alexander Perezhogin took advantage of the Omsk powerplay - 1: 0.

In the second period the Ufa team seized the initiative and twice hit the net of the goalkeeper Dominique Furh. At first Alexander Soin equalized - 1: 1, and then a throw by Maxim Mayorov put the visitors on top - 2: 1.

The Ufa team won the series with a score of 4: 3 and will meet with HC Metallurg (Magnitogorsk) in the Eastern Conference finals. The first matches will take place in Magnitogorsk on March 23 and 25.
