Beloretsk runner Gulshat Fazlitdinova has a positive doping test for meldonium - TASS

UFA, 21 March 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. Doping tests of the Russian athlete Gulshat Fazletdinova were positive for meldonium, TASS reports.

The illegal drug is detected in doping tests of 102 athletes. So far we know the names of 15 athletes implicated in its administration. Among them there are 11 Russians: runner Nadezhda Kotlyarova, skater Pavel Kulizhnikov, biathlete Edward Latypov, cyclist Eduard Vorganov, skater Ekaterina Bobrova, tennis player Maria Sharapova, short trackers Semen Yelistratov and Ekaterina Konstantinova, volleyball player Alexander Markin, rugby players Alexey and Alena Mihaltsovs.

Gulshat Fazletdinova is included in the ranking of the best sportsmen of Bashkortostan on the results of 2015. She shares the 10th place with Egor Nikolayev.

The sportswoman is actively preparing to participate in the Summer Olympics in 2016.

A little less than six months are left before the main event in the world sport – 31st Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).

Gulshat Fazletdinova is in the list of candidates for the Olympic national team, carrying out preparations for the Games in Rio de Janeiro. The final structure of the Russian national team will be confirmed no later than July 17.
