Ufa will host the regional championship of working professions WorldSkills

UFA, 16 March 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. From March 21 to 23, Ufa will host the WorldSkills regional championship of blue-collar professions. The competition of young professionals will be attended by 85 students and young experts under the age of 22 years. They will compete in 13 competencies, including "Welding Technology", "Laboratory and Chemical Analysis," Electromagnetic Works", "Stonecutting Business ","Entrepreneurship", "Web Design", "Hairstyling", "Clothes Design"," Pre-school Education"," Graphic Design".

As the Rector of the Institute for the Development of Education RB Ramil Mazitov announced at a press conference in Bashinform News Agency, the competitions will be held in a number of Ufa colleges: statistics, computer science and computer engineering; technology and design; fuel and energy; and in Sibai and Sterlitamak multidisciplinary professional colleges, Neftekamsk engineering college.

The event will take place as part of the forum "Education of the Future." In this connection, all of these colleges on Tuesday, March 22 will be open to schoolchildren in order to familiarize them with the blu-collar professions.

In addition, workshops will be organized for students at the Congress Hall.

At the end of the championship the Bashkortostan team will be formed to participate in the final of the championship of the Volga Federal District «Young Professionals» of WorldSkills Russia.
