Journalists from Bashkiria are among winners of All-Russia People’s Front national competition

UFA, 15 March 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. Three journalists from Bashkiria are among the winners of the second national competition of the Fund for Independent Regional and Local Media Support "Truth and Justice" of the All-Russia People’s Front. They were among 300 representatives of print and electronic editions, TV and radio companies, photojournalists and bloggers from all over the country.

According to the organizers, about 3.5 thousand works from journalists of 834 media sources were submitted at the contest: 407 – from print media, 255 – from Internet portals, 154 – from TV channels, 18 – from radio stations. Also, the Public Council of the Fund decided to award journalists with personal prizes "For Promoting Confidence in Media".

Galiya Nabieva, the head of Bashinform News Agency politics department is among the winners. Her colleagues Svetlana Istomina and Julia Hatyleva will visit the Media Forum together with her.

Last year, journalists from Bashkortostan also worthily represented our republic at this competition. Then eight people from our region were awarded at the Media Forum.
