The first day of spring will be cold in Bashkortostan

UFA, 29 February 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. In Bashkortostan, the temperatures will drop to -13 degrees Celsius on the first day of spring. According to the Regional Office for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, on March 1 it will be -8, -13 degrees at night, 0, -5 degrees during the day. There will be occasional little snow, ice-slick on the roads with northwest wind with gusts up to 20 m/s.

On Sunday, February 28, the temperatures will reach +2 -3 degrees during the day in the republic. Forecasters predict ice-slick, sticking of wet snow on wires and trees, packed snow in some sections of the roads. Wind will be south-west up to 12 m/s.

On Monday, February 29 the mercury will drop to -3, -8 degrees at night, reaching -3, +2 during the day. Isolated light snow and glaze with ice-slick on the roads are expected. In the south of the republic there will be a mix of snow and rain, ice-slick, snow drifts on the roads. The wind will be south-west up to 14 m/s.
