Swine flu is diagnosed in more than 400 people in Bashkiria

UFA, 26 February 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. In Bashkortostan swine flu is laboratory confirmed in 405 people, including 200 children. All patients are receiving treatment at the republican health facilities, the press-service of the Ministry of Health RB informs.

The region continues control measures for the prevention of influenza and SARS. The main thing, as emphasized by medical experts, not to self-medicate. At the first symptoms of the disease immediately call a doctor.

The most common symptoms of influenza: fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, headache, shortness of breath, muscle aches, conjunctivitis.

Please avoid crowded places and observe good personal hygiene.

For reference. Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 is characterized by early appearance of dangerous complications, first of all viral pneumonia. Deterioration in the condition in case of viral pneumonia is rapid and many patients already within 24 hours have developing respiratory failure requiring immediate respiratory support with lung ventilation. Therefore, it is crucial to start early treatment that will help alleviate the severity of the disease.
