Ufa will join International Rare Disease Day

On February 29, in Ufa, a round table dedicated to the International Rare Disease Day will be held at the "President Hotel" (2, Avrory Street). The organizer of the event – the public organization "Road to Life" - for the fourth time holds the Rare Disease Day in Ufa. The forum is conducted in order to attract people attention to rare diseases and to inform about the needs of people with such diseases.

The event will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bashkortostan, doctors, representatives of non-profit and public organizations, patients with rare diseases. Also on this day in one of the shopping malls of the capital members of the public organization "Road to Life" will conduct an information campaign and will distribute information leaflets about people with rare diseases and the challenges they face. The Rare Disease Day will be closed with a bright flash mob. In the evening, in the territory of Ufa "Kashkadan" recreation park all participants will release balloons into the sky in solidarity with patients who have rare diseases.
