Bashkir State University will prepare ethnographic tourism specialists

UFA, 24 February 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. The new course of professional retraining "Historical and Cultural Tourism is developed at Bashkir State University. Its purpose is to train specialists in development, organization and maintenance of tourist routes in the territory of Bashkortostan, taking into account the ethno-cultural specifics of the region.

The course includes three modules. The first is historical and cultural, where students will receive information about the history and culture of the peoples of the region, architecture, art and mythology and religion. The second includes special tourist disciplines, familiarity with the structure and main areas and types of tourism activities. The third covers the specifics of tourist routes of Ufa and tourist and recreational development of certain regions of the republic.

The training is conducted in-person and through distant learning for five or six months. Upon completion, students will receive a diploma of vocational retraining.
