Difference in disabled children up-bringing in Germany and Russia will be discussed at special workshop in Ufa

On February 13, the Club for Applied Ecology "Bez Zatei" invites everyone to an open seminar on public attitude towards children with disabilities in Russia and abroad. Daria Gerlach, who brings up a child with Down syndrome, will share her experience of special up-bringing of children in Germany using modern foreign education techniques. Also the meeting will focus on the experience of cooperation with institutions of social support, necessity to educate the staff of hospitals and obstetric units at births of children with disabilities, positive educational practice in schools and after-school educational institutions, development of working skills in children with disabilities.
The workshop will be held at 133, October Prospect, Ufa. Beginning is at 11.00, admission is free.
The main activity of the Club for Applied Ecology «Bez Zatei» is eco-education and development of social entrepreneurship in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Events of the club aim at a broad public enlightenment about separate collection of municipal waste, conservation of resources, motivation of population to take waste to recycle.
Among the important trends that are going to be soon developed by the staff and volunteers of the club is interaction with waste transportation companies in the region, environmental education work in educational institutions and labour collectives.
