During 2015 more than 50 thousand people left Bashkiria

According to the data of Bashkortostan Statistics Agency, from January to December 2015 the number of emigrants from the region amounted to 56.9 thousand people. 51 thousand people changed their original place of residence to the republic. More than 100 thousand inhabitants migrated within the republic. The migration flow volume - arrived plus departed - was 309.4 thousand cases.

As a result, according to the calculations of statisticians, the overall migration population loss in the region amounted to 5927 people. For the same period of 2014 the decline was 4441 people.

As previously reported, population of Bashkortostan amounted to 4,071,181 people as of January 1 this year. Compared with the same period of the last year, there was a decrease by 806 people (0.02 percent).
