Austria is interested in cooperation with Ufa university in oil sector

UFA, 3 February 2016. /Bashinform News Agency,Elmira Sabirova/. Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (USPTU) develops cooperation with its colleagues from the Austrian Leoben Mining University, which cooperates with USPTU for 25 years. Currently joint work of the university and the «Rexonics» company in application of new technologies in the development of oil and gas industry is considered. This issue was discussed during a visit of the president of the «Rexonics» company Peter Spenger, its technical director Mark Pesendorfer and representative of Leoben Mining University Michael Kouba to the Ufa university. «Rexonics» deals with ultrasonic treatment of wells to increase oil production and treatment of industrial pipelines.

According to the head of the department of oil and gas transportation and storage USPTU Boris Mastobaev the parties have already met at the Targin service company, where many technical issues were discussed. Now the future contract between USPTU and the Austrian firm on rendering research and production services is negotiated.
