21 374.3 cubic metres of snow were removed from Ufa for a day

UFA, 2 February 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. Ufa public services operate in an emergency mode. According to the press service of the mayor's office, over the past day 21 374.3 cubic metres of snow were removed to the snow disposal and snow melting sites, and since the beginning of the season, this figure amounted to 977 216.4.

As a driver of a new NGV truck marked, "one" KamAZ "can contain about 10-13 cubic metres of snow without compaction".

The public services will have the same amount of work ahead. As previously reported, the Met Office forecasts precipitation in the form of snow, moderate winds, sometimes with strong gusts from February 2 to 4.
