More than 50 people fell ill with swine flu in Bashkiria

UFA, 1 February 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Since the beginning of 2016 the swine flu is identified in 54 residents of Bashkortostan, 27 of them are children. All patients are in hospitals under supervision of medical care workers. There are no fatal outcomes at the moment, the press service of the Ministry of Health RB reported on Monday, February 1.

Cases are recorded in Ufa, Beloretsk, Uchaly, Kumertau, Birsk, Belebey, Neftekamsk, Octyabrsky, in Bakaly, Duvan, Zianchurino regions.

Due to the deterioration of the epidemiological influenza situation in the country, operational headquarters for coordinating activities during the flu outbreak is established at the Ministry of Health RB.

Medical institutions of the republic are provided with the necessary equipment, supply of drugs for the prevention and treatment of infections, personal protective equipment and disinfectants. Hospitalizing of patients with SARS and influenza is organized in accordance with the approved procedure.

The most common symptoms of influenza are as follows: high fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, headache, shortness of breath, muscle aches, conjunctivitis.

With the first symptoms of the disease you should immediately call a doctor, do not self-medicate.

Avoid crowded places, observe good personal hygiene, including washing hands frequently with soap and water.
