Rustem Khamitov visited UPPO and UMPO enterprises

On January 27, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, together with executives of enterprises of the Rostec State Corporation, familiarized with the activity of JSC "Ufa Instrument Production Association" (UPPO) and PJSC "Ufa Engine Industrial Association" (UMPO).

The UPPO CEO Marat Badgutdinov said that the company included in the list of strategic ones, specialized in design, manufacture and service of aircraft and space production, oil and gas equipment.

Rustem Khamitov together with top managers of the Rostec State Corporation reviewed the implementation progress of the Federal Target Program "Development of Military-Industrial Complex of the Russian Federation for 2011-2020" at UPPO, visited the assembly shop of aerospace equipment. It produces avionics for different types of aircrafts and helicopters, as well as devices for spacecraft series "Soyuz" and "Progress".

Then the Head of the Republic met with the representatives of labour collective and trade union of UPPO. During the meeting they discussed issues of technical re-equipping of the enterprise, expansion of range of products.

The next item of the working trip was PJSC "UMPO", a parent company of “Engines for military aircraft” division in the United Engine Corporation. It develops, manufactures and services turbo-jet aircraft engines, components of helicopter engines, gas pumping units, gas turbine products in the field of energy. More than half of the products are made for export.

Rustem Khamitov, together with Rostec executives visited the engineering and manufacturing facilities. The technology of diffusion welding and superplastic forming of large hollow blades of engines for civil aviation was demonstrated there. Then the head of the republic visited the assembly shop.
