Half of employees have access to social networks at work in Ufa

UFA, 28 January 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. The HeadHunter job searching portal made a survey on access to social networks at workplaces in Ufa. The survey was conducted in connection with the initiative of the Public Chamber of Russian to ban the access to social networks during working hours. The survey was conducted on January 22-27.

31 percent of respondents - mostly bank and industrial sector employees - said that the access to social networks had been already blocked. Almost none of such restrictions were among senior management and journalists.

56 percent of respondents told about free access to social networks at work. Most often they visit social networks to have a little break: read the news feed, chat with friends or listen to music.

Every tenth interviewee noted that social networks were necessary for his work. Of 238,000 customers CVs of the HR agency only 53 mark work in social networks as a key skill. Basically, marketing specialists and IT-specialists put the emphasis on it.
