All Russia People’s Front intervened to stop advertising on pension stubs

UFA, 27 January 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. On February 1, the branch of Russian Post will completely stop advertising publishing on the reverse side of pension stubs. The decision was made at the request of activists of the All Russia People’s Front and the Department of the Pension Fund of Russia in Bashkortostan.

The regional headquarters of the People’s Front explained that the public was outraged with advertising credit consumer cooperatives promising revenue 25% per annum on the pension stubs and other social benefits receipts. The People’s Front experts consider unacceptable advertising any credit institutions on documents with mentioning the Pension Fund of Russia, which enjoys the confidence of the population. The advertising information on pay stubs that are associated with the pension agency can mislead people.

Activists of the regional headquarters of the People’s Front in Bashkortostan urge the population to be more selective in choosing credit institutions not to become "deceived investors". The situation remains under their control. In February, social activists are planning to hold an additional check of pension stubs.
