Ufa Aviation University was visited by Skolkovo Tech President

UFA, 26 January 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Ufa State Aviation Technical University was visited by delegation from Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skolkovo Tech) headed by the President - Academician Alexander Kuleshov. As reported by the USATU press centre, the guests met with the leadership of the university, discussed a multi-purpose co-operation and visited research and innovation laboratories.

Talking about his visit to USATU, the head of Skolkovo Tech said that "in Bashkortostan several points of interest of our institute are concentrated: firstly, oil (in USATU there is a special centre for research and teaching innovations in this area), secondly, aviation and thirdly, the "Polygon" Research and Production Enterprise, which becomes our partner. I am glad that I have arrived. We were shown a lot of interesting things regarding all three issues".

USATU became the first university after Moscow Phystech visited by the new president of Skolkovo Tech.

Alexander Kuleshov is the Russian mathematician, D.Sc. in engineering, an expert in the field of information technology and mathematical modeling. The Academician RAS, Director of the Institute for Information Transmission Problems named after A.A. Kharkevich. In December 2015 he became the President of Skolkovo Tech, succeeding MIT Professor Edward Crawley.
