Ufa Airport became the safety leader in Volga Federal District

UFA, 26 January 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. The Ufa International Airport summed up its industrial activity for 2015. Last year, 2 million 313 thousand 358 people used the services of the Ufa aviation hub (by 3% less than in 2014). 1,857,376 passengers were served on domestic routes (the growth rate was 14%), 455,982 – on international ones (down 39%), 14,704 sorties were carried out (minus 3%).

As reported by the press centre of the company, the regularity of flights in the last year exceeded 90%. The airport showed the highest safety results in the Volga Federal District among aviation hubs of its segment. The number of complaints received from passengers decreased by 35% compared with the year before last.

On domestic routes flights to Moscow, Simferopol, Sochi, Nizhnevartovsk, Novy Urengoi and St. Petersburg were the most demanded. As in previous years, the flight "Ufa - Kazan" remains demanded as the regional route. The leaders of international destinations were Larnaca, Bangkok, Phuket.

Last year, the Ufa International Airport again the first in Volga Federal District checked-in the two-millionth passenger. In June 2015 experts of the reputed agency "AviaPort" awarded the Ufa aviation hub four stars out of five for the quality of terminals infrastructure and passenger service.
