About 190 thousand inhabitants are recognized healthy in Bashkortostan

UFA, 22 January 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. 189 836 residents of Bashkortostan found to be healthy on results of preventive medical examination, which took place in 2015. Its first stage was attended by 714,300 people, the press service of the Ministry of Health RB informs.

According to doctors, preventive medical examination reveals risk factors and diseases that require monitoring and provision of specialized medical care. The last year it showed that most frequently residents of the republic were suffering from diseases of circulatory system - 31.1%, diseases of the endocrine system - 26.3%, diseases of genitourinary system - 9.7%.

Among socially significant diseases there were identified: malignant tumors - 536 cases; diabetes - 1805; diseases characterized by high blood pressure - 23 155; coronary heart diseases - 6151.

89 health facilities took part in carrying out medical examination of the population. 42,850 people were examined with use of mobile medical teams.

219,835 people were directed to the second stage of clinical examination.
