Nearly 14,000 kg of honey were inspected in Bashkiria prior to export to the USA
UFA, 20 January 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. In Bashkortostan nearly 14,000 kg of honey were inspected prior to export to the United States. Employees of the Directorate of Rosselkhoznadzor in the region tested 13 639 kg of honey packed in plastic and glass jars.
The press service of the department explained that the batch was subjected to laboratory tests: the honey met the requirements of GOST and the importing country the United States. The international veterinary certificate is issued on the product.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, also the first batch of honey to the United States is sent by the Bashkir Research Centre on Beekeeping and Apitherapy. The container with 18.7 tons of the product will be sent as part of the long-term contract concluded in September last year.
