Ufa young athletes won eight medals at International Children's Games in Austria

UFA, 18 January 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Young athletes from Ufa have won eight medals at the International Children's Games in Austria. On the closing day of the Games the Ufa representatives won three medals. Skiers Alexander Galiakbarov and Elizabeth Vorobyova took the first and third places respectively in ski cross. Biathlete Almaz Valiev was the second in the mixed relay.

Ufa athletes brought home eight medals: Almaz Valiev and Alexander Galiakbarov have two medals (each per gold and silver), one gold medal went to Tatiana Grishina, Kyril Ped’ won the silver award, Yana Valieva and Elizabeth Vorobeva – received bronze medals, the press service of the Ufa administration informs.

The Children's International Summer Games this year will be held in Taiwan, in New Taipei.
