Short cold snap to be changed by warm front and snowstorms in Bashkortostan

UFA, 12 January 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. In Bashkortostan a short cold snap will occur, which again will be replaced by a warm front and blizzards. This week in the republic it is expected variable weather patterns with sharp fluctuations in temperatures, according to the regional Agency for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring.

At the beginning of the period a short-term cold snap will be observed. Temperatures in the early days of the working week will be -13, -18 degrees Celsius, reaching -23 at sunny periods. On the night of January 12 to 13, the temperatures will drop to -20, -25, and -30 degrees in some places.

From the middle of the week a warm front from the west of Russia will move to the region. It will bring rise in temperatures, snow, blizzards, snowdrifts in some parts of the road, sleet. In the daytime temperatures will be -2, -7 degrees, at night -10 degrees Celsius, in the south-east to -15.
