Russians have more confidence in policemen, journalists and military men - VCIOM

UFA, 12 January 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. Most of all Russians trust workers, teachers and military personnel. Over the past five years confidence in the policemen, reporters and military increased. Rating of trust by occupational groups was made by the Russian Public Opinion Research Centre (VCIOM).
Most noticeable positive trend is marked in relation to policemen (from 2.39 to 3.09), and employees of government agencies (from 2.47 to 2.97). Also, citizens have a great confidence in teachers (from 3.79 to 3.96), soldiers (from 3.67 to 3.95), journalists (from 2.95 to 3.16), entrepreneurs (from 2.58 to 2.84). Officials, businessmen and politicians are at the end of the trust rating.
Now the Russians trust most of all workers (average score 4.05), teachers (3.96) and military (3.95), and the least of all - politicians (2.74), entrepreneurs (2.84) and officials (2, 97). The lowest trust in politicians is demonstrated by LDPR supporters, people with low incomes, 45-59-year-olds.
The top 3 of the rating of professions most mentioned in the Russian media compiled by "Medialogia" in 2015 includes doctors, journalists and drivers. Also the most mentioned in the media occupations cover teachers, lifeguards, public servants, athletes, artists, policemen, lawyers, writers, spokesmen, engineers and builders.
