Labour and Employment Ministers of the BRICS countries will discuss creation of quality workstations in Ufa

UFA, 11 January 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. On January 25-26, the first meeting of Ministers of Labour and Employment of the BRICS countries will be held in Ufa. The theme of the event is "The policy of quality workstations and available employment creation". Heads of departments will discuss the following issues: modernization of enterprises and economic sectors, increase in labour productivity, quality of vocational education and training, development of professional standards, labour mobility, development of employment services, enforcement of rights of workers and the unemployed, including social protection, improvement of working conditions safety and reduction of occupational diseases, transition from the informal to formal economy (legalization of labour relations).

Reports by of the Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Maxim Topilin, Director General of the International Labour Organization Guy Ryder, the General Secretary of the International Social Security Association Hans-Horst Konkolewsky, vice president of global practices of the World Bank Keith Hansen et al are scheduled at the event.

At the end of the two-day meeting it is planned to sign the Declaration of Labour and Employment Ministers of the BRICS countries, which will reflect the issues of integrated policy on formalizing the labour market, improving quality and inclusive employment, the website the Ministry of Labour informs.
