27.5 kg of nuts, dried fruit and fresh fruit were liquidated at the Ufa airport

UFA, 21 December 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. At the Ufa airport, the employees of Rosselkhoznadzor (Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance) in the region directed quarantine products for destruction. During the inspection of baggage and hand luggage it was revealed 27.5 kg prohibited for import into Russia products - nuts, dried fruit and fresh fruit at passengers arriving from Uzbekistan.

The press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor informs that the grounds for the destruction of such products are temporary restrictions on import of plant products in baggage and hand luggage of passengers arriving from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan introduced by the department since April 16, 2012.
