Ufa - best city in Volga Federal District in terms of life safety

For the third year in a row Ufa becomes the best city in the Volga Federal District in terms of life safety among the administrative centres of the subjects of the Russian Federation. Diplomas handing over on the results of the competition for the title of "Best Local Municipal Authority in Safety Protection", which is annually held by Volga Regional Emergency Centre of Russia, took place in the city of Kirov, the press service of the Ufa administration informs.

Another city of Bashkortostan - Neftekamsk - was the best among urban districts.

The administration of the capital of our republic pays great attention to the safety of the population. Each year, drills and exercises are conducted aimed at improving efficiency of interaction between agencies as part of the month campaigns of children's safety, civil protection and defense. Activities are organized that allow developing the necessary behavior skills in both adults and children in the event of any contingency.

In Ufa there is a system enabling to respond quickly to emergency situations, and to eliminate their causes and consequences as soon as possible. There are all necessary powers and resources to do this, effective cooperation between the municipality, various departments, enterprises and organizations is established.
