New-Year Tree is decorated with handmade ornaments by Ufa townspeople

UFA, 18 December 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. Ufa squares are decorated with New-Year Trees. Today, the "Forest Beauty" in Zaton residential neighborhood is started to be decorated. In addition to the multi-coloured garlands the New-Year Tree will be embellished with unique handmade ornaments made by townspeople, local craftsmen - creative, enterprising people living and working in the neighborhood. Both children and adults took part in the creation of the festival. As part of the organized regional contest "Winter Patterns" for the best New-Year ornament residents and students of educational institutions made 507 toys.

Snowmen, penguins, balls, Christmas wreaths, robots, airplanes, cartoon characters - there is no limit to fantasy of craftsmen. One of the most popular crafts were ornaments in the form of monkeys - as you know, the Fire Monkey is a symbol of the coming year according to the eastern calendar.
